1. Scope of Application
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to all purchases of goods made through our online shop at www.golden-eclipse.com .

2. Conclusion of Contract 

• The presentation of products on the Website is an invitation to treat and not a binding offer.  
• By clicking "Place Order" you submit a binding offer to purchase the selected items.  
• A contract is formed only when we accept your order by sending an order confirmation email and/or by dispatching the goods.  
• We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders (e.g. due to stock unavailability, pricing errors, suspected fraudulent activity, or bulk/resale purchasing).

3. Prices and Payment 

• All prices are in British Pounds (GBP) and include UK VAT at the current rate (20%).  
• Shipping costs are displayed separately during checkout.  
• Accepted payment methods: Credit/Debit Card,Paypal, Apple Pay, Bank Transfers.
• Payment is due immediately upon placing the order.

4. Delivery 

• We deliver only to addresses within mainland United Kingdom.  
• Delivery times are estimates only and start from the date of dispatch.  
• Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery.  
• For portable power banks (containing lithium batteries), we comply with all relevant UK and international transport regulations.

5. Retention of Title
The goods remain our property until we have received full payment.

6. Statutory Right of Withdrawal (14 days – Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)
As a consumer you have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The cancellation period expires 14 days after the day you (or a third party you nominated, not the carrier) receive the goods (or the last item in a multi-item order).  To exercise your right, inform us clearly (e.g. by email to office@goldeneclipse.com or using our online returns form) of your decision to cancel.  Exceptions – no right of withdrawal for:  

• Goods sealed for health or hygiene reasons once the seal is broken (e.g. certain earphone accessories if applicable)

You must return the goods within 14 days of notifying us of cancellation. We will refund all payments received (including standard delivery costs) within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or proof of return.

7. Voluntary 30-Day Returns Policy (additional to statutory rights)
We offer a voluntary 30-day return period for unused, undamaged items in original packaging with all tags/labels attached.  This voluntary policy does NOT apply to:  

• Sale/clearance items  
• Items returned for hygiene reasons after seal removal  
• Faulty/damaged items (handled under warranty – see below)

Return shipping costs are your responsibility unless the item is faulty.

8. Warranty and Consumer Rights (Consumer Rights Act 2015)
All goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described.  Portable power banks (lithium-ion battery products):  

• Have a limited lifespan depending on usage, charging cycles and care  
• Normal capacity reduction over time (after 300–500 cycles) is not a defect  
• We provide a 12-month manufacturer's warranty against manufacturing defects from date of purchase

Wallets and other non-electronic items: standard statutory rights apply (generally up to 6 years, with burden of proof shifting after 6 months).  If goods are faulty/not as described:  

• Within first 30 days → full refund (if you reject the goods)  
• After 30 days → repair or replacement first (or refund/price reduction if not possible)

We do not cover damage caused by misuse, water exposure, incorrect charging, normal wear & tear, or third-party modifications.

9. Battery & Product Safety Information
Some products (portable power banks) contain lithium batteries.  

• Do not dispose of in household waste – use official recycling points  
• Follow all usage, charging and storage instructions provided  
• Misuse may cause fire or injury – we accept no liability for damage resulting from improper use

10. Liability
We are liable without limitation for death/personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or matters where liability cannot be excluded by law.
In all other cases, our liability is limited to the purchase price of the goods.

11. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
The courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction (you may also use the courts of your home country if you are a consumer resident in the UK or EU).

12. Alternative Dispute Resolution
We are not obliged or willing to participate in ADR procedures before a consumer ADR body.

13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. The version in force at the time of your order applies.
